We had the pleasure of working in this newly renovated Coal Harbour condo. The contractor added a 5" MDF valance around the outside of all the rooms to allow us to conceal the motorized shades inside. We used Lutron Sivoia QS Wireless motorized shades with a 3% openness sheer fabric. All the shades got hardwired back to a power panel hidden in the closet.
We have setup some amazing motorized shading products at the new showroom for Ayreborn Audio/Video. Ayreborn is a great automation partner of Gallant Shading and we integrate Lutron motorized shading products with their Control4 automation systems. Rarely do you come across a condo with 14 foot ceilings and with windows this large, it can be difficult to find a window covering solution. We utilized the extra height in the Lutron Triathlon WIDR motorized shades to cover these monster windows. These battery powered shades work great in this retro-fit scenario and using the battery boost option, we won't be changing them out any time soon.
New Triathlon WIDR battery-powered roller shades are available up to 144” wide and 144” tall. The sleek headrail design can be used with or without a fascia, and can be specified on Triathlon shades of all sizes. A maximum roll-up diameter of only 3” allows the fabric-wrapped fascia to have the same vertical height as existing Triathlon product, making it easy to match other shade aesthetics in a space. Sivoia QS Triathlon WIDR shades are available as a standalone solution or can be integrated into a Lutron lighting control system.
You can now have a metal fascia with Lutron's battery powered Sivoia QS Triathlon product. New architectural fascia design provides a clean, sleek aesthetic for contemporary spaces. This new option comes in many different colours, allowing customers and designers more choice to customize the perfect room.
This whistler home incorporates very large windows, framed with plenty of BC fir. Though 2" wood blinds blend in well in this scenario, they can be very heavy to open and the stack at the top can be obtrusive. Lutron battery powered motorized shades allow for an unimpeded view when open and provide much better light blocking. These motorized shades are controlled by smartphones, in-wall keypads and a Control4 automation system.
Newly completed project in West Vancouver. This gorgeous house boasts some of the best views in Vancouver. We used Lutron motorized shades with custom built pockets to ensure the shades could be seamlessly hidden. The Lutron motorized shades were also integrated into the clients Control4 system, providing easy automation with the touch of a button.
This unique West Vancouver job shows some amazing finishing details. The client wanted a valance that would match his Douglas Fir wood beams. The contractor was able to custom manufacture these wood valances to perfectly cap off the Lutron motorized shades.
This recently completed job in the White Rock area has some incredible views! Along with the amazing views comes a lot of south facing sun exposure. To protect the floors/furniture and still be able to see outside, we used a 5% sheerweave fabric. These motorized shades are also integrated into the customer's Control4 system completed by one of our favorite automation companies, Ayreborn Audio/Video.
With Lutron Sivoia QS, size is never an issue. This recently completed job includes a massive window reaching 150" wide and 110" tall. These motorized shades are all done with 24 volt motors and near whisper quiet operation.
